Welcome home, Dad!

Posted in Short & Sweet by Cheryl on 13 November 2006

Today my dad returns home to my mom after having spent 2 weeks in Africa. What was he doing in Africa? I can tell you what he wasn’t doing: he wasn’t on safari, he wasn’t on business, he wasn’t stranded.

Number 3: The shower is clean. And private.

More to follow in later installments as I discover the wonders of exercising on our new cross-trainer.

After Tim and I moved to Germany, we were told by everyone who visited the apartment, you have a nice kitchen! But they were really impressed when we told them that it was part of the apartment - because in Germany, that’s almost unheard of. Even people who rent apartments tend to take their kitchen with them, so most apartments for rent don’t even have a kitchen.
