Just for the record
So, just for the record, I haven’t posted to this blog for an extraordinary number of days and, no, that’s doesn’t mean I’ve lost my desire to ramble (far from it!). Two things happened to discourage my blog-writing: first, I played too much Wii Tennis during the New Year break and got a rather major case of tennis-arm that luckily for me disappeared very quickly, but nonetheless prevented me from using the computer in the evenings after work the first week of this year. Second, the moving process to the new house slowly swung into action.
Regarding the second: to limit my daily level of distraction during this moving-and-packing time, we’ve gone ahead and moved my (home) office, as well as the DSL and phone line, to the new house. So yes, there is a huge echo when I talk on the phone now and yes, I am bored to tears with the selection of food and drink available to me during the day. (The refrigerator is still at the old house :() This all means to you, dear blog reader, that I am not able to post to my blog in the evening because we have no Internet access at our present dwelling. I know, unfathomable! And being the dedicated worker I am, I won’t post to this during working hours, so there you have it: fewer posts.
But never fear, I imagine there will be lots to report after our move!
