yeah, i think we still have those. mainly for LAN parties, where a bunch of guys, and 2 girls (wife included), and i've got a ping pong/pool table combo if we don't FPS/RTS game, with a tv rigged into the ceiling, and lucy has her laptop bluetoothed into the stereo for mp3s with an iPod adaptor. not much of a yard, but big enough for little short frisbee toss and BBQing. all we need is alcohol, but well, i don't drink, so its BYOB. we still have leftover beers (yech!)

to me "clubbing" is what i do to the BBQ when the fire gets out of hand. :)

In our case, there is not a total lack of house parties. We are fortunate in the fact that several of our friends who've bought houses decided to invest in hot tubs or pools (one has both and it sweeeet). But they are all (99.9%) single and do not want to just hang out most of the time. They want to meet girls, at bars....so that's where we go alot. Do they actually talk to girls while at said bars? Well, no, of course not. ugh. So the task of traditional house party (non-frat style) usually falls on us...and well, I don't like to clean that much. ;)
