The pie looks wonderful. I'm so glad Tim doesn't normally look like that!

It warms my heart to know you want to keep family traditions alive.

I've only recently heard it called Black Friday. It is the most crowded day of the year for retailers. I called it that myself once this year, but decided not to do it again because I love Thanksgiving weekend. Your dad did go shopping on Friday. Surprise! (I couldn't because I was making cherry and pumpkin pie, and I have never gone on Friday after Thanksgiving because of baking for Engelberths.) He bought a scroll saw with his Christmas money and I think he was going to shop for me. He said there were at least 10 people in every line! He didn't last long.
