Time to say goodbye
Sad but true: I just don’t usually feel like updating my blog in my free time any more. I thought maybe that I would get back in the swing once I got into more of a regular working-hours routine, but instead I have even less interest in sitting behind a computer after work. Some friends of mine are starting a photo blog - that’s an interesting idea that I’m considering - or maybe I’ll just have to make a less-frequently-updated site here … about something. A website just about me is boring - maybe I can come up with a different, fresh idea - like an interior redecoration! :) Any ideas for a new, renovated, cherylontheweb?

Ooh ooh ooh !!! Don’t leave Cheryl. I think you should do the photo blog and/or a short post blog (see the format at 22 words http://twentytwowords.com/) You can set up the photo blog so that you could just email in your posts, perhaps do it through Flickr. Basically set it up so you don’t have to “sit down and spend time blogging”. You can just do it on the go. I don’t know what your portable electronics (i.e. cell phone) situation is like, but you’re a smart girl, ;) I’m sure you can figure something out. Don’t leave us! I love the unpredictability of your posting schedule! Plus, you KNOW that if you stop, you’re going to start thinking of all these things you want to write about. =)

You can’t stop! I always stop by when i have a minute on the computer. It’s exciting when your page opens and there’s something new! haha. In fact, if you stop i’ll coming over there to hunt you down. And i don’t speak German so its likely i’ll get beaten up or something, and you wouldn’t want that right?! :p
Maybe the photo thing is a good idea if you can update it away from the computer though. Or maybe you could do a food diary? I know you’ve liked to post what you’ve cooked before, and this way you can see how good your diet is when you look back over it!

yeah, that would suck. but i understand. you’ve seen my blog. i haven’t updated it since.
although, if you wanted to snaz up your blog, you could like, make an active matrix screensaver that runs in the background with blinking/flashing neon text with an occasional popup/msgbox that asks “Does The New Site Bother You” with Yes/No options, that avoids the user’s mouse if it moves close to the “Yes” option by shifting around the screen. you could also have a background midi of your favorite obscure german rock band, or even better, a .WAV file that blares loudly, “I’m looking at porn, everybody, I’m looking at porn,” for people who check out your site while at work.
What do you think? *laughs out loud*

Or,
You can just have a picture of your face transposed on a massive spider, ala Lord of the Rings, with a background of spider webs with midis of screaming and torment playing in the background with a banshee wail accompany any user mouseclick. That would be cool too.
